Phyllis was my role model as a young teenage girl watching her blonde head bob behind the pharmacy counter at Eckerd's on Independence. If she, a female, could be a pharmacist, so could I. I later worked with her at the South Blvd Eckerd's after graduation as an intern. She was a remarkable, lovable lady who taught me so very much. I am so sad to read of her passing. Please accept my sincere sympathies in your loss. She was one of a kind.
