Prakash Dave's Obituary
Shri Prakash Manilal Dave, 64, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Born in Nandol, Gujarat, India, Prakash spent his early years there before moving to Ahmedabad, where he grew up and built the foundation of his life. After his marriage, he began a new chapter in the United States, eventually making Charlotte his home for the past 25 years.
Prakash dedicated many years of his career as a Quality Technician before retiring. Beyond his work, he was a man who found true joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. He cherished time spent with his family, whether it was sharing conversations, watching cricket, enjoying television with his beloved wife, or playing with his cherished fur grandbaby Leia.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Shri Manilal Ambashanker Dave and Shri Kapilaben Manilal Dave; his brother, Shri Dineshbhai Manilal Dave; his sister, Shri Urvashiben Divyeshkumar Jani; his father-in-law, Shri Mukundrai N. Rathod; his mother-in-law, Shri Madhukanta Mukundrai Rathod; his nephew, Shri Tarak Dineshbhai Dave; and his cherished fur grandbaby, Parker.
Prakash is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 41 years, Darshana Prakash Dave; his sons, Shivam Prakash Dave and Deep Prakash Dave, both of Charlotte; and his daughters-in-law, Priya Shivam Dave and Ishita Deep Dave. He will also be deeply missed by extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
