Ian and Meg, I am very sorry for the loss of Dr. Bishop. He was such a wonderful opthomologist that treated a rare eye condition I had for years and also performed surgery on my eye.He was a kind and caring doctor and person. I always enjoyed my visits with him. He sounds like an amazing man having read his obituary. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
My mom & I remember working with Dr. B in Ithaca. He was a remarkable Dr. & Surgeon (he did my grandmother’s cataract surgery). But best of all he was a remarkable colleague, friend, and all around good human being. The world is a little worse off not having him with us but he is one heck of a guardian angel! Our deepest sympathies and condolences to his family and friends.

Ralph. A brilliant physician, advisor and friend. Loved his “B” and his Angel. When I saw him last, he knew me and told me I was a good friend to his Carol. Ralph, we will all watch out for her and love her as you did. Peace to you my friend. Your pain is over and now you are where the sun will always shine on the Ocean for you.🙏
