Randy Hagler's Obituary
Randy Joe Hagler, a Charlotte native born February 26th, 1948, transitioned peacefully in the presence of his wife on September 7th, 2023 at 75 years old.
Randy graduated from Harding University High School in 1966, he was voted most athletic during this year and played as a quarterback for the High school’s football team; his love for the sport carried on throughout his entire life.
Randy was a hardworking and conscientious man. He served in the Vietnam War with Special Forces as a First Lieutenant after graduating, and later devoted 25 years of his life to the Charlotte Fire Department as a Captain after being discharged from the army. Following his retirement from the Fire Department, he diligently worked as a Real Estate Appraiser for 20 years.
Randy loved his family and did everything he could to provide for them. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Hagler. Three sons, Brandon Hagler, (Granddaughter, Peyton Hagler), Brian Hagler (Granddaughters, Jailyn, Bailee, Alexa, Raigen, Ember, Jillian, and Grandson, Kaiden Hagler.), and Brandon Crepps (Wife, Bridgette Crepps.) His Mother, Virginia Hagler, his brother, Martin Hagler Jr., and many other beloved relatives. He is preceded in death by his Father, Martin Hagler Sr., and his sister, Donna Reames.
A celebration of life will be held at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville, NC, 28078, on Friday, September 15th, 2023 beginning at 2 p.m. All who knew Randy are welcomed and encouraged to come and show love and light during this time.
