Raymond D. Mason's Obituary
Raymond Darryl Mason, 63, of Huntersville died December 13, 2023. He was born on March 3, 1960 in Mecklenburg County to the late Calvin Eugene Mason and Joann McKee Mason.
A man of many passions, Raymond found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. He found solace in the great outdoors, spending countless hours hunting and fishing alongside his beloved sons. The bond they shared during these moments will forever be cherished and remembered.
Beyond his love for hunting, Raymond was a pillar of strength and support for his family. His dedication to their well-being knew no bounds, and he took immense pride in caring for them with a heart full of love and compassion.
As we mourn the loss of a father, brother, and friend, may we find solace in the beautiful memories we shared with Raymond. His spirit will continue to live on in our hearts, guiding us with his love and wisdom.
Survivors include his sons, Matthew D. Mason and fiancé Katelyn of Mt. Olive and Raymond P. Mason and wife Katherine of Huntersville; sister, Beverly Poston of Huntersville and grandchildren, Matthew and Silas.
