I am so sorry to hear of Becky's passing. In 1995, she hired me to teach at Buist. Although I was certified in several subjects, I was not yet certified to teach Spanish. Recognising my love of Spanish and my determination to take the classes I needed, she took a chance and hired me. We developed a great relationship. She was always a positive influence. Her beautiful smile was always ready for everyone. After observing my classroom teaching, she would write sweet, encouraging notes on beautiful stationery. She was a great principal and I loved working for her! She believed in me and I will be forever grateful.
