Richard Lee Dodson, 58, of Charlotte died September 10, 2015 at his home. He was born in Wilmington, NC on August 5, 1957 to the late Charles and Gladys Dodson. He worked as a truck driver.
Survivors include his son, Charles Lee Dodson and daughter, Holly Marie Dodson, both of Charlotte; grandchildren, Chanler, Aubree and Destiny as well as siblings, Donald Dodson and Debra Marler (Stan) and nephews, Shawn and Cameron (Katie).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 Saturday, September 19 in the chapel of James Funeral Home (10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville, NC) with Rev. Jack Homesley officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
