Richard Francis Milanese Jr.'s Obituary
Richard Milanese Jr., 66 of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024.
Rich was originally from East Islip, NY, moved to South FL to attend the University of Miami where he was a brother in the Sigma Chi Fraternity, then moved to Charlotte in 2012. He was looking forward to settling down in the western Carolina mountains, his happy place.
He had a zest for life with friends and family, always the life of the party. He loved fast cars and anything with a motor in it. Rich was a business owner in the solar construction industry and active in the Vistage leadership community. He enjoyed cooking, hiking, boating, pickleball and spending time with his family, friends, and dogs.
Rich is survived by his wife of 19 years, Christine and their daughter Jessica, stepdaughters Lauren (Ben) and Rachel (Dylan); his four brothers, Pete (Teresa), Tommy (Barb), Jon (Tammy), Jeff (Theresa) and a whole brood of nieces, nephews, and babies as well as his parents, Richard and Patricia.
Celebration of Life will be announced later.
