Richard Morrow's Obituary
Richard 'Chip' Edwin Morrow, 65, passed away on September 7, 2014, with his family by his side in Stanley, North Carolina. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014, at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius, NC at 7:00pm.
Chip was born on March 28, 1949 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Robert Wesley Morrow and Belva ‘Louise’ Morrow, and resided in North Apollo, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, attended Valley Forge Military School, and graduated from Apollo High School in 1967. He then moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1972, having worked for Piper Aircraft and other aerospace and industrial companies up until his last assignment. Chip's last residence was in Greensboro, North Carolina working for HondaJet as a propulsion engineer, supporting the production of the world’s most advanced light jet.
His hobbies were flying, hunting, and cowboy action shooting. Over his lifetime, he enjoyed woodworking, building furniture and other pieces with the highest level of craftsmanship. While residing in Vero Beach, Florida, he was a member of the Vero Beach Masonic Lodge #250.
Chip is survived by his mother, Louise Morrow, his brothers Robert Morrow, Jr. and Jeffrey Morrow, his two daughters, Jennifer Moates and Ann Price, and four grandchildren.
Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Levine & Dickson Hospice House Huntersville NC.
