Richard Overcash's Obituary
Richard Vernon Overcash, 67, of Huntersville, died August 8, 2022. He was born on January 16, 1955 in Mecklenburg County to the late Marvin and Ruth Overcash. Richard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was always quick to help his family do whatever they needed done. His resourcefulness and devotion will be deeply missed by his entire family. Carpentry was not only an occupation for Richard but a lifelong passion.
Survivors include his wife June Brown Overcash; sons, Daniel Neal Overcash of Huntersville and Adam Brent Overcash and wife Kelli of Huntersville; daughter, Ashley Overcash Cook and husband Glenn of Belmont; siblings Carolyn Jackson and husband Jeff and David Overcash; grandchildren, Hadley, Erin, Emma, Cameron and Blakely.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 13 at James Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10-11 prior. Burial will follow at Huntersville ARP.
