Beyond his professional life, Bob had the special gift of bringing people together. He was a man who was always looking for ways to give back, dedicating time and effort to various fundraising events.
Bob will be best remembered for the joy he brought to those around him. A gentle soul with a resilient spirit, he faced his battle with Parkinson’s and Lewy Body dementia with courage. Bob was a lighthearted man and a gifted storyteller who possessed a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to laugh and made it easy for others to laugh with him.
A true enthusiast of life, Bob was an avid golfer and a lover of sports. He also found great joy in listening to Frank Sinatra. Above all, Bob was a family man. He was a devoted husband and a caring father who took immense pride in his children and grandchildren.
Bob shared a beautiful, lifelong love story with his beloved wife, Kathy. Married for 57 years, the two were high school sweethearts, the classic pairing of the football player and the cheerleader. They were truly best friends who built a life filled with fun and mutual support. Through good times and bad, they stood by each other’s side, creating a partnership that was nothing short of inspiring. Their devotion was a model of love that many admired and looked up to.
