Robert Church's Obituary
Robert Charles Church, 91, of Mooresville, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 11, 2025. He was born on November 24, 1933 in Mecklenburg County to the late Charlie and Etta Church. He worked as church sexton at Ramah Presbyterian and Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife Wilma Church; son, David and wife Amber of Cleveland; daughter, Gale Fox and husband Larry of Mooresville; siblings, Walter “Pep” Church, Mary Kistler, Martha Gardner and Dorothy Morrow; 4 grandchildren, Melodie Smith (Clint), Amanda Riter (Matt), Amy Canoy (Junior), Timothy Fox (Megan) and 9 great-grandchildren, Nealy, Coy, Kaylah, Mason, Emigale, Katie, Ethan, Carson and Wyatt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.. He is preceded in death by brother, Willard Edward Church.
Memorials may be made to Grace Covenant Church.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, February 14 at Grace Covenant Church. Visitation will be 10-11 prior in the sanctuary. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
