I knew Bob through my neighbor Rose Mullins. What a dear of a man. The world was definitely better for him being in it. He will be remembered with great fondness by me. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that you all are comforted by wonderful memories.

I am so sad to hear that Bobby has passed away, but I do know that he and my daddy are together again and lord knows what those two and all the Huntersville boys are up to! I have hear Bobby Gibson's name from my daddy my whole life and I would be in Huntersville when I was older and I would hear Kelli what are you doing? I would turn around and it would be Bobby yelling at me. He would give me the biggest hug and ask how I was doing. After my daddy passed he would check on me and my mama and even though his health was not the best he would always tell me if your mama needs anything you let me know!
He will be missed be many, but many will be reunited again in heaven!

I was fortunate to have Mr.Gibson as a customer for many years at Piedmont Bank. Man, would he joke and give Dianne a hard time. And then a few years later I got to have him as a customer at First Bank. He was such a sweet man who will be greatly missed. Your family and Ms Rose will be in our thoughts and prayers.
