Robert Edwin (“Rob”) Hawks, of Mooresville, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, age 64, passed away on Tuesday morning, the 2nd of August 2022, on Lake Norman in a tragic skiing accident near his residence in Mooresville, No Read Obituary
Rob always made the moment better with his bright and pleasant personality. I’ll miss the spontaneous excitement when running into him on a layover or wherever. Taken from us much too early, but assured he is part of God’s plan, he will carry those attributes to when we meet again.

I met Rob over 10 years ago at Joe Nall. Spent two weeks every year enjoying his company. He was such a patient man that loved aviation. He always talked about his son and daughter and the various car problems he always seemed to face. I’m saddened by his death and will never forget him when I lift up my transmitter. We were shocked & our hearts saddened with your unexpected loss. We have fond memories of how Parker & Drew would light up with big smiles when they saw their Uncle Rob. And we will always remember his quiet strength during Parker's illness. Rob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a good man.

My family and I share in your grief, although we have never met, I feel like I know you through Rob.
Every interaction and conversation with him was always a pleasant experience, as a fellow check airman we shared not only technical but personal conversations.
We are all part of a bigger family and so please except my deepest and sincere condolences, you will be in our prayers that our Lord will help you all in healing from the great loss and void you carry, for me every time I will enter the flight deck of the 777, I will remember our friend Rob.
