Robert Holloway's Obituary
Robert "Bob" Earl, Jr. Charlotte, NC Mr. Robert "Bob" Earl Holloway, Jr., 68, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Bob was a native of Flint, Michigan, the son of Bob and Betty Holloway. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Flint, and a Master's Degree in Guidance Counseling from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He taught at Linden Community Schools. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army Michigan National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Melissa and Patti, and a granddaughter, Sienna. Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Therese Seymour Holloway, sons; Rob Holloway and wife, Carrie of Fairview, NC, Lt. Col. Matt Holloway and wife, Jasmin of Washington, DC, brother, Brad Holloway and wife, Debbie of Flushing, MI, grandchildren; Jacob, Eva, and Gwenyth, Holloway and Seymour nieces, and nephews. He married into the Seymour family and leaves 10 brothers and sisters and their families. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2015 at St. Mark Catholic Church. There will be a casual gathering of family and friends at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 12 at the home of Christie Ware, 7176 Kessling St., Davison, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eternal Word Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Rd., Irondale, AL 35210 or to American Chesterton Society, 4117 Pebblebrook Cir., Minneapolis, MN 55437 or to Loaves and Fishes, 648 Griffith Rd.
