Robert Joseph Tuck's Obituary
Robert Joseph Tuck “Joe”, age 64, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 20, 2018. Joe was the son of the late Bobby Joe Tuck and Doris Cruse Tuck of West Tennessee.
Born on May 15, 1954, in Obion County, TN, He was a retired police officer in Tucson, AZ and a retired airline employee in Charlotte, NC. Joe enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, and amusing his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Doris and step-father Bob Rushing of Charlotte, NC. Joe is survived by his daughter, Ashley Tuck, a brother, David and his wife, Dana and their sons, Adam and Aaron, of Charlotte; a sister, Delaine T. Douglas and her husband, Nick Hammond of New York; Joe was also loved and admired by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of West Tennessee, Arizona and North Carolina.
A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the Chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Charlotte FOP Lodge 9, 1201 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, NC 28205, or to the Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28203.
