Robin Ella Perrotta's Obituary
Robin, beloved wife and friend was born on October 15, 1955 in Haywood County North Carolina to the late Ralph and Doris Jenkins and passed away peacefully June 15, 2024 at the age of 68.
Robin moved to Charlotte and began her career in the retail business working for Brownlee Jewelers for 31 years. Beloved by her many loyal customers for her easy smile and knowledge of jewelry, she could easily accommodate her clients in picking out the perfect piece of jewelry for that special person.
Robin married the love of her life, Butch on December 27, 1996. They enjoyed many happy years together biking, traveling and spending time together with their dear friends at Raintree Country Club. In 2018 they moved to The Polo Club of Weddington where she enjoyed many happy memories with their neighbors and sitting on the patio watching birds and entertaining family. In her later years she lived with health ailments but never lost her warm smile, laugh and love of music.
She is survived by her loving husband Butch of the home, brother Billy Jenkins (Laura), sister Ramona Hicks (Walter), and the Perrotta family Maria Mincey (Jim Johnson - fiancé), grandson Zachary Mincey, granddaughter Hannah Mincey (Zac Story - fiancé, great granddaughter Ansleigh), grandson Peyton Mincey, Jacob Perrotta, Aubrie Perrotta, grandson Kyler Perrotta, Elena Perrotta, and granddaughters Isabella Perrotta and Gabrielle Moore. Robin was predeceased by her two nieces, Kendra and Christy Jenkins and her stepson Todd Perrotta.
Special thanks to Diane Desimone and her daughter in law Deborah and family for their love and support in her final days. Also dear friends Cedric and Deborah Maillard for their love and support.
Memorial service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
