Roger Wittkop's Obituary
Mr. Roger Wittkop, 79, of Huntersville, passed away Wednesday, February 15th, 2017.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
Roger was a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Michigan where he worked as Director of Engineering for Parke Davis. Later in life, he moved to Connecticut where he worked for Schein Pharmaceuticals. He spent much of his career building and managing pharmaceutical plants in the U.S. and abroad. Roger and his wife retired to the Huntersville area over a decade ago.
Roger enjoyed gun collecting, target shooting, fishing and hiking in the mountains. He had a strong love for animals, particularly dogs.
Roger is survived by his wife of many years, Barbara Wittkop, their children; David Wittkop and Jennifer Cerick, also three lovely grandchildren; Evan Cerick, Olivia Cerick and Taylor Wittkop.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Monday, February 20th at James Funeral Home of Huntersville.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM Monday at the funeral home.
