I was lucky enough to be Ron's classmate at both Perrysburg High School and at Adrian College, '66 and '70. Four of us from PHS went to Adrian, and we all had dorm rooms in Stevens Hall our freshman year. Ron's was central to ours, and stopping by to shoot the bull gave us a touch of home in our new unfamiliar surroundings. Ron was a "people" person who listened when he asked how you were doing. His smile and laughter are unforgettable. The world lost a great man. My sincerest condolences to Dawn and Ron's family.

Ron and I were basketball teammates at Perrysburg. That's a certain kind of bond. I loved watching him hit those shots. He was a great shooter and passer. Ron was a friendly, caring guy. You ran a good race my friend and deserve the prize of eternal life. You are already missed. RIP

Ron was a GIANT among his classmates at Perrysburg High School. He was always kind to everyone. One powerful gift that he had was the ability to talk to anyone about anything. He was in athletics and I was strong in music, but we could find common ground on any topic or subject!! My wife and I always looked forward to the class reunions so as to converse with Ron.
