Ronald A. Burger's Obituary
Ronald Arthur Burger, age 84, died peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018. He was born in Indonesia on April 16, 1934, to the late Willem and Daisy Burger. He was married to the late Ruth Garrison Boliek Burger.
As a young boy, Ron moved with his family to Holland where he grew up and served in the Dutch army. After automobile technical training, he migrated to the United States and became a United States Citizen. He lived in Waynesboro, VA, Fairfax, VA, Pensacola, FL and spent the last twelve years in North Carolina. Although Ron was hampered by a debilitating stroke in 1996, he never lost his sense of humor and always showed compassion for anyone in need in every walk of life. He was a joy to all who knew him.
Mr. Burger is survived by his two step-daughters, Brenda Bosserman and her husband, Russ of Huntersville and Cynthia McNair and her husband, Hugh of Boise, Idaho; two granddaughters, Lori Wyatt and her husband, Allen and Mary Spillman and her husband, Michael and four great grandsons, Seth, Cody, Cooper and Andrew.
Services will be privately held in the spring of 2019.
