Ronald Anthony Patterson's Obituary
Ronnie A. Patterson (Indian), 44 of Charlotte NC born on December 16, 1979, transitioned on Friday, August 2, 2024.
Ronnie, fondly known as Indian or Patterson to close friends, family and co-workers, was raised in Mount Vernon, NY. He attended Johnson C. Smith University in 1997, in Charlotte, NC and continued to reside there after college.
Ronnie worked several jobs until he found his passion in Security. He worked security for Walmart, Food Lion, Compare Foods and private parties. Eventually he started his own security business known as PPIS, LLC and Strong Armz Security, LLC. He also educated himself in credit repair and did consulting in credit repair as well. He was also licensed to train in restraint and safety. His earlier years in Mount Vernon were spent on baseball teams (age 5-16) as a pitcher, short stop, first and second baseman. He played football as a running back and tailback in both high school and for city sports. He also played basketball. He was an asset to all his teams.
Ronnie was the life of any party. His spirit and personality shined brightly in every room. Ronnie had a story for everything. Some of his stories were so outrageous, you couldn't tell if it was true or not.
Ronnie leaves behind numerous family members, extended family, friends and co-workers. His gift of communication and his vast knowledge of information allowed him to tackle any task he put his mind to while establishing strong, everlasting relationships.
My son didn't have a mean bone in his body and his spirit will live on in everyone he touched in one way or another.
