Ronald Delmas Cason's Obituary
Mr. Ronald “Ron” Delmas Cason, 76, of Cornelius, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.
Ron was a native of Blackshear, Georgia. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Ron was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and the Leggo Sunday School Class. He was retired from Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals with over 30 years of service. Ron enjoyed collecting antiques, traveling, and following the financial world via the stock market. He was preceded in death by his dad, Delmas Cason.
Mr. Cason is survived by his wife of 55 years, Priscilla Ann Cason, mother, Helen Cason, son, Timothy Wray Cason (Lisa Ann) of Huntersville, daughter, Suzanne Marie Hawes (Aaron) of Cornelius, brother, Tony Wray Cason of Blackshear, GA, grandchildren; Lindsey, Dallas, Bailey, Jesse, Samuel and Veronica.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 at Bethel Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church Children’s Fund, 19920 Bethel Church Road, Cornelius, NC 28031.
