Rondel Sowards' Obituary
Rondel Eugene Sowards, 85, of Harrisburg died April 24, 2020. He was born on July 22, 1934 in Cabell County, WV to the late Herman and Maxine Sowards.
Survivors include his wife Nellie Sowards; son, Tony Sowards and wife Penny of Charlotte; daughters, Dorenda Sowards of Charlotte and Debbie Stegall and husband Doug of Charlotte; siblings, Harold, Darrell, Eddie, Connie, Doris and Donzie; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. His son Randy preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 1-2:45 at James Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30. A graveside service will follow at 3 PM at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
