Each time I drive by South and Spring, I've thought about you, Jimmy and Ruby. That is your corner. The Alexander Family has meant so much to DUMC and our Davidson community. I vividly remember sitting next to Mildred in choir, then later Anne. And James standing and coming to the altar to greet new members. Then all of Jimmy's service with Davidson Fire. I am so sorry to hear of Ruby's passing. She and I worked together at Cornelius Elementary and she was one of the best 3rd grade teachers. She was always very professional and well prepared to meet every child's need. I loved working with her because she was dependable, loyal and ready to help in any way. I will keep you in my heart and my prayers.
