Ruby Lee Hager James, 88, of Huntersville, died May 7, 2011 at the Huntersville Oaks. She was born on February 10, 1923 in Mecklenburg County to the late Robert W. and Ada Porter Hager. She was preceded in death by her husband Jo Read Obituary
So sorry for your loss. We can draw comfort from God's word the Bible. Psalm 37:29 says, "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it." We can have complete confidence in this because Jehovah God promises it to us. I hope you are comforted too.

Ronnie, Linda, Rodney, Vicki and Littleman,
Even though I haven't seen Ruby in many years, my loss I might add, I have a lot of fond memories of the times I spent with "Bootie". One in particular was when we went to lunch and Dale Earnhardt was making a commercial for the restaurant we were at. Bootie wanted his autograph and said she was to shy to go up and talk to him herself so she sent me. He was about 15 ft. away from our table, his back was to her and as he was signing the promo sheet she hollered "Gale, tell him to make that out to Rodney". He smiled and signed it "To Rodney".
Anytime I was with Bootie we had a lot of fun. Just the things she would say and the way she said it made me smile. She was a special lady and will be missed.
