I had the privelidge to spend around 3-4 hours with Russ at an ol truckstop around the west side of St. Louis. We talked several hours before an older gentleman who was with him introduced us. I asked Russ if I could have a picture. I have 3 pics of us. He had a new coat that rusty had given him from Graceland. Russ was a delight to talk to. Had a great time and will never forget that day. His memory will live in my heart forever.

I have been lucky enough in my life to meet Rusty and get to know Kenny a little. I know how important your dad was in your lives. My deepest symapthy goes out to all of your families. How lucky were you guys to have such an awesome role model?!?!? I am sure he couldn't have been any prouder of any of you than he was. What a great family.

Russ frequented a local restaurant almost daily and made friends with many of the daily patrons. I was priviledged to meet him there several years ago and we became friends. I will truly miss the fun conversations I had with Russ and am greatly sorrowful for his passing. I wish to express my condolences to all of his family.

I saw Russ less frequently than my brother Tom, but I really liked him and always enjoyed talking to him. This past Sunday we had a remembrance service for members (as well as others) who had passed away this year and I lifted up the name of Russ during that service. Our deepest condolences are with his family.

Praying for peace and sollace for the entire Wallace family in this painfull period. Russ was a special man. He had the absolute best wife any man could ask for; he worked hard and played hard; and lastly, very few families produce so many successful, diversely talented members. I am certain that he is at peace, and grinning that that little sly smile of his, as he looks down and realizes what a great influence he has been. We know, he is "resting in peace".
