Salome Levkulich's Obituary
Salome Ann (Gnall) Levkulich, 88, of Huntersville, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. She was born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania on October 22, 1937, the daughter of the late Peter and Olga Kasyan Gnall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Levkulich; brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Catherine Gnall; sister, Evdokia Knapp; brother, Gabriel Gnall; and daughter-in-law, Wanda Levkulich.
Salome is survived by her son, George Levkulich; daughters and sons-in-law, Olga and Cliff Kramer, Stephanie and Tom Smith, Nicole and Ron Naylor, Andrea and Chris Halvorsen; brothers and sister-in-law, Theodore and Janet Gnall, Jerome and Patty Gnall, Myron and Sylvia Gnall, Nestor and Cheryl Gnall, Andy and Carla Gnall; sister and brother-in-law, Monica and Leonard Lapinsky; sister-in-law, Patti Gnall; brother-in-law, Michael Knapp; grandchildren, Marissa, George Harrison, Rachel, Alex, Melissa, Megan, Sydnee, Jessica, Bryce, Kristie, Brandie, Connor, Corrin, Kalle, Luke, Bailey; and 18 great grandchildren with two on the way.
The family will receive friends from 4:30pm – 6:30pm on Friday, December 5, 2025 at James Funeral Home of Huntersville. A prayer service will begin at 6:30pm after the visitation. An Eastern Rite Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Charlotte. Interment will follow the service at Northlake Memorial Gardens, Huntersville.
