I'll never forget Sam ... We first met at a mutual friends party in the neighborhood next to mine (Sam and I lived in neighborhoods facing each other) ... I had never seen him before, he had only been described to me, and i had history with his brother, Lee, so i approached and asked if he was Lees brother as a way to break the ice. Within 5 minutes time we were practically the best of friends, standing around reciting our favorite funny Eminem lyrics. After that he was at my house every day for months, usually even sleeping there the majority of nights per week. He was such a character. He always had something funny to say, always cracking jokes and smiling. Truly, there was never a dull moment when Sam was around. As we got older, we didn't hang out as much, and then I moved several miles away and we didn't hangout out at all. We talked on Facebook now and then, shooting the breeze or sharing posts and articles with each other. He was always very kind and warm to me and everyone I saw him interact with. Some of my most fun teenage memories wouldn't exist if I didn't know Sam. Every time a song comes on that he introduced me to, I just gotta pause for a second and give a little glance at the clouds.
This world is not as bright without him in it.

I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Sam. I was praying that the outcome would have been different. Thoughts and prayers to all who knew and loved Sam.
