Samuel W. Spencer's Obituary
Samuel W. Spencer, 80 of Huntersville died June 28, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 30, 1940 in Brunswick County to the late Lee and Alberta Spencer. He served in the merchant marines and worked as a crane operator for the power company. He was a member of Asbury U.M.C.
Survivors include his wife Audrey; daughter, Stephanie McKinney (John) of Wilmington; step-sons, Todd Russell (Sheila) of Iron Station and Steven Greer of Albuquerque, NM; step-daughter, Melony Ryan (Dereck) of Huntersville; brother, James Spencer (Nancy) of Bolivia, NC; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His son Lee Spencer preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Friday, July 2 at Asbury U.M.C. in Huntersville.
