Linda Hoffman
Sandy and I first met in April of 1966 when I transferred to Franklin High School at the end of our sophomore year. She made sure I got scheduled for band and we became great friends. After graduation, we lost touch for a while until I became involved in class reunion planning in order to reconnect with her. I visited her in Polk many times and then especially in North Carolina after she moved there and I became a snowbird, traveling north and south in my motorhome for about 10 years. We went out for live music a couple of times, tried different restaurants for lunch, went shopping, or just talked and talked. I always admired her courage and positive attitude and valued our long friendship. What a great woman and friend. I will miss her dearly.
