Sandra Jane Bennett's Obituary
Sandra Jane Huffman Bennett, 72, of Huntersville died August 5, 2024. Jane was born on May 4, 1952 in Mecklenburg County to the late William and Dorothy Huffman.
Jane was a lady a faith and family. Hobbies included: jig saw puzzles, reading, and at one time avid bike rider. She even rode her bike to Myrtle Beach for the MS Charity. She was a lover of travel and seeing new places and new people. She retired from Fiserv after 36 years of service, she had a Thursday ladies lunch with former Co-workers that she rarely missed.
Survivors include her son Scott Bennett (Amanda) of Concord; daughter Cheri Lynn Bennett (Bobby Mash) of Huntersville; siblings, Richard Huffman and Dixie Shaw; and 4 grandchildren: Caleb Anderson, Hannah Bennett, Morgan Anderson, and Aaron Bennett, and former husband Dennis Bennett. Her brother Carl preceded her in death.
Memorials in leu of flowers, may be made to either: Stonebridge Church Community or Prison Fellowship Ministry.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Stonebridge Church, Charlotte, NC at 2:00pm Sunday Aug. 11th 2024
