Norma Brown
This is Norma Brown—I met Sandy over forty years ago in Conyers Georgia, and we developed a friendship that grew stronger over the years. She and I shared many cups of French Vanilla coffee and attempted to solve a few of the world’s problems (not successfully, of course) at one another’s tables. She lived a profound faith and always loved her family without measure. She and I shared a love of our furry friends, too. She’d often ask me if I was reading any good books lately and we’d laugh and talk and sometimes cry over a wide variety of things. If she’d agree with me on something, she’d often say “so true, so true, so true”. Of course, after she moved from Georgia, we weren’t able to keep in the close contact that we’d enjoyed so many years. We did, however, have that special friendship that isn’t often replicated, regardless of whether or not we saw or talked to each other very often. I count myself blessed to have been her friend. Above that, I know where Sandy is now and pray that her family can find a semblance of peace in that. Much love to you all.
