Saundra Blythe's Obituary
Saundra Ammons Blythe, 70, of Huntersville passed away peacefully August 30 surrounded by her loving family. Saundra was born on December 10, 1946 to Doug and Nelma Ammons. She was a very loving, caring and patient wife, mother and grandmother. She always put others needs first before her own and she was devoted to her Lord, even despite her long term battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She was a very strong soul who fought hard until the end, always comforting her family with words of encouragement. She was a member of Gilead ARP Church and retired from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
She is survived by her husband Joe Bailes Blythe; daughter, Crystal B. Toney (Anthony) and Paula Blythe; sons, Scott McCracken (Holly) and Paul Blythe (Lori); grandchildren, Cody, Sommer, Shawn, Ryan, Faith, Blake and one grandson on the way; brother Mike Ammons (Carolyn) and sister Carol Morrett (Mike).
Memorials may be made to Gilead ARP Church.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 2 at Gilead ARP Church. Visitation will be 10-11 prior. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
