Scot Williams' Obituary
Scot Thomas Williams, 52, of Charlotte passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was born on October 3, 1970 in Hamilton, Ohio to Tom and Marcia Williams.
Scot, along with his family, was able to enjoy moving to several different states while following his Dad’s career. We first moved north to Nashua, New Hampshire where he went skiing with friends in the White Mountains. Our neighbors then introduced us to Hampton Beach in the summers. After that we headed west to the Chicago area. He made lifelong friends there and graduated from Conant High School. He then attended the University of Kentucky for several years. In 2004, Scot and his young family followed us to Charlotte.
Scot is survived by his two sons, Jackson Scot Williams, 19 and Colton Jetson Williams, 13. He also leaves behind his parents, Tom and Marcia Williams. He was separated from his wife, Brenda Hopkins. His sister, Stacey Williams lives at the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center in Morganton, NC.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Tom and Marcia Williams with a date yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, we have set up two accounts for Jackson and Colton to help them in the future. These accounts will be available when they reach the age of twenty-one. Please contact Scot’s parents for further information.
