Scott William Davis' Obituary
Scott William Davis, 49, of Huntersville, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2024, from a massive heart attack. He was surrounded by his daughters and his family before passing early in the morning hours of the 15th. He was born on June 22, 1974, to Jim and Vickey Davis in Charlotte, NC.
Scott was a follower of Christ. He has always loved staying physically fit by doing a variety of martial art practices such as Tae Kwando, which he taught classes in when he was younger. Jui Jitsu, which seemed to be his favorite, and also where he went on to accomplish the second degree of black belt. He loved weightlifting and training of all sorts to keep himself healthy and happy. As a young man, he taught himself how to play the guitar so he could swoon the ladies and even joined an all guy’s dance team around the early 90’s. Above all, the accomplishments he was most proud of were his two daughters, Victoria Davis, and Claire Davis. Scott also had a love for animals and had a very close bond with his dog Yogi, who was waiting to greet him at the pearly gates with doggy kisses and a wagging tail along with his beloved nephews.
Scott is preceded in death by his beloved nephews, Jonathan Davis, and Austin Davis. In addition to being survived by his parents, Scott is survived by his two daughters, Victoria Davis (fiancé Tyler Rary) and Claire Davis; His grandsons, J.R. and Jayce; Brothers, Chris (Jana) their children and grandchild, Jessica Davis (Seth), Kelsey Hicks, Trevor Hicks and Rhett, Ryan (Angela) Sydney Davis (fiancé Jacob Dodge); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him very much.
Scott preferred to remember loved ones away from funerals and services. To honor him, the family will spreading his ashes in his favorite place – the beach this Spring.
