Shaquil Bennett's Obituary
Shaquil Bennett passed away on August 27, 2023. He was born on April 3, 1993, in New York to the late Herminia and Stanley Bennett. He was a very caring person that loved all his friends like family and was very friendly, always the life of the party. His passion was making music, and he was a very creative individual.
Shaq was a great father to his son, Syre. He enjoyed spending time with Syre and the mother of his child, Ivanna. Shaq and Syre spent endless hours outdoors and listened to his music when they were together; it was like nothing else exist. Also, Shaquil liked metaphysical things; he played singing bowls, loved long walks, and he was sagged. He was loving and protective of his family.
In addition to his parents, Shaquil is preceded in death by his brother, Derrick. He survived by his son, Syre; siblings, Tasia, Isheme, Jason, Sheryl, Shaylah Bennett, Dennis, Ezekiel, Joshua, and Mikhail Vanduzen; his beautiful nephews, Ace and Messiah; and his companion and mother of his child, Ivanne.
His kind energetic soul will not be forgotten.
The funeral will be held at James Funeral Home. Times to be announced. The gathering after the funeral will be at Charanda Mexican Grill at 8629 Concord Mills Blvd in Concord NC.
