Sharon Parker Cox's Obituary
Miss Sharon Parker Cox, 58, of Huntersville passed away in her home Saturday, May 14th.
Sharon was a native of Charleston, SC and moved to Charlotte, NC in the early 90’s. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter & family. She was passionate about her volunteer work with at risk youth and the education of HIV/AIDS safety awareness in her community. Sharon enjoyed making those around her smile and laugh, no matter the situation.
Sharon is survived by granddaughter, Emri Hammond, daughter Kristan Cox, sister, Sandy Parker of Huntersville. Sister-in-law Kim Parker and brother, Tim Parker of Midland. Sharon was an aunt to four nieces and one nephew.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at James Funeral Home of Huntersville Wednesday May 18th at noon. Let us honor our beloved mother, “Nana,” sister & friend.
