Sharon Payne Rose's Obituary
Sharon Payne Rose, 52, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at CMC Northeast Medical Center in Concord, NC.
She was born on February 24, 1962 in Charlotte, NC and was the daughter of the late Franklin D. “Jabo” Payne. She was a customer service agent with International Minute Press in Concord. She was also a mentor for members of the group Change Choice and a health care provider of patients with disabilities.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce Anne “Corkey” Hager Payne of Garden City, SC; two daughters, Dena Braddock and husband Eddie of Sherrills Ford, and Felicia Garland of Charlotte; three sisters, Sandy Payne Halsey and husband Scott of Cornelius, Debbie Carpenter of Garden City, SC, and Donna Payne Wright and husband Tom of Concord; five grandchildren, Devin, Jasmine, Kenzie, Kyleigh and Caidan Braddock; former husband, Timothy Rose and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Cornelius Church of God located at 20401 Hickory Street in Cornelius, NC. Following the visitation there will be a short Memorial service to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Cornelius Church of God where funds will be given to family to help with funeral expenses.
