MY AUNT SINA ESTHER
I THOUGHT I SAW YOUR FACE TODAY
IN THE SPARKLE OF THE MORNING SUN,
AND THEN I HEARD THE ANGEL SAY,
"SINA YOUR WORK ON EARTH IS DONE"
I THOUGHT I HEARD HER VOICE TODAY
THEN LAUGH HER HEARTY LAUGH.
AND THEN I HEARD THE ANGEL SAY,
"THERE'S PEACE SINA ESTHER AT LAST."
I THOUGHT I FELT HER TOUCH TODAY
IN THE BREEZE THAT RUSTLED BY.
AND THEN I HEARD THE ANGEL SAY.
"THE SPIRIT NEVER DIES."
I THOUGHT THAT AUNTIE HAD LEFT ME
FOR THE STARS SO FAR ABOVE,
AND THEN I HEARD THE ANGEL SAY.
SINA ESTHER LEFT ME WITH HER LOVE."
I THOUGHT THAT I WOULD MISS HER
AND NEVER FIND MY WAY.
AND THEN I HEARD THE ANGEL SAY.
"AUNT SINA ESTHER IS WITH YOU EVERY DAY."

SILENT TEARS
Each night we shed a silent tear as we speak to you in prayer
To let you know we love and miss you and just how much we care
Although our hearts are broken and filled with much despair
We take comfort in knowing your presence will always remain near
Take our million teardrops wrap them up in love
and ask the wind to carry them to our Aunt Esther in heaven above.
