Sophia Tyburski's Obituary
Sophia Katlyn Tyburski, age 11, of Cornelius, NC passed away on November 13, 2014 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville, NC.
She was born on April 19, 2003 in Columbia, MD to her parents Matthew David and Carri Anne Walker Tyburski of Cornelius. Sophia attended Bailey Middle School in 6th grade. She loved soccer, Starbucks, her large family and her many friends. In addition to her parents she is survived by a sister, Lauren Elissa Tyburski; grandparents Tom and Norma Tyburski of Stanley, NC, Joseph Walker, Jr. and his wife Donna of Mooresville, NC, Patricia Suess Loun and her husband Victor of Mancos, CO; great grandparents Jack Suess, Sr. and Dorothy Ellen Suess. In addition, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins mourn the loss of their beautiful Sophia.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 16, 2014, from 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m at James Funeral Home. A prayer service will begin at 4:00 p.m in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
