Stephanie Margaret Merk Felstow's Obituary
Stephanie Felstow passed away on December 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love that will be carried forward by all who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
Stephanie was a woman of compassion and humility. She was kind, gentle, and deeply caring, always thinking of others before herself. Her love was sincere and steady, and she had a quiet strength that drew people to her. When Stephanie smiled, a room truly did light up—her warmth and presence were felt immediately.
Above all, Stephanie was a devoted and wonderful mother. Her love for her daughter, Elizabeth, was boundless. Being Elizabeth’s mother was one of the greatest joys of her life, and the depth of her love was evident in everything she did. She nurtured, protected, and cherished her with her whole heart.
Stephanie had a deep love for children and a special gift for caring for those with special needs, particularly autistic children. She met them with patience, understanding, and unconditional love. She also cherished her role as an aunt to her niece, Jalisa, whom she lovingly cared for during her early years. Nurturing others came naturally to Stephanie, and her gentle spirit left a lasting impact on many lives.
Stephanie will be remembered for her kindness, her compassion, and the way she made others feel seen and cared for. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, held in God’s eternal love.
She is survived by her husband, Jeremy; her beloved daughter, Elizabeth; her sister, Jennifer; her parents, Kathryn Merk Hazelrigg and Thomas Merk; her stepfather, Walter Hazelrigg; and her parents-in-law, Helen and Doug Morgan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2025 at Grace Covenant Church. A reception will follow at the church.
