Stephen Bissinger's Obituary
Stephen John Bissinger, 47 of Charlotte died May 22, 2014 at his home. He was born on December 10, 1966 in Fairfax County, VA to John and Marilyn Bissinger. Stephen has a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a P.E. license. He was a member of Assurance U.M.C. and a most enthusiastic servant in children’s and youth ministry.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife Karen Murray Bissinger; daughter, Vanessa of the home; brother Jason and wife Michelle of Huntersville and sister Karen Bissinger of San Diego, CA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Assurance U.M.C. for the youth and children’s ministry, 9700 Mt. Holly-Huntersville. Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 25 from 4-6 PM at Assurance U.M.C.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, May 26 at Assurance U.M.C. with Rev. Chris Westmoreland officiating. Interment will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
