Stephen Bleser's Obituary
Stephen Tyler Bleser, 59, of Huntersville, North Carolina passed away on Friday, November 26th, 2021 after a courageous and hard fought battle with prostate cancer.
Steve was born on December 30th, 1961 to Steve & Lee Bleser in Baltimore, Maryland. The Bleser family called a few cities home during Steve’s childhood including Milwaukee (WI), Chicago (IL) & Hudson (OH) where Steve graduated from Hudson High School in 1980. He then went on to study at Ohio University.
After college, Steve began working in the Telephone business before ultimately starting his own business, AddLogos, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In 1982, he met Karen Dawes, and they were married in 1984, going on to have two beautiful daughters, Emily (30) and Dani (28).
Steve was a devout Catholic, entrepreneur and family man. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, playing cards, working on projects around the house, cheering on his favorite teams (Carolina Panthers, White Sox & Ohio State Buckeyes) and was a fantastic cook.
There was nothing more important to Steve than his family. He loved spending time with his two granddaughters, Nina (7) and Josie (3) and they adored spending time with their “Pops” too.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Karen and their daughters and son in law; Emily & Chad Elbert, and Dani of Charlotte, NC, granddaughters; Nina & Josie of Charlotte, NC, Parents; Steve & Lee Bleser of Matthews, NC, sisters; Tracy Beinke of Cary, NC and Susan (Bob) Brust of Denver, CO, brother; Patrick (Candiss) Bleser of Charlotte, NC, and many loving cousins, nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Thursday, December 30th at St. Thomas Catholic Church (1400 Suther Rd, Charlotte, NC 28213) followed by a celebration of life at the Bleser residence. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zero – End of Prostate Cancer, Charity Organization and Levine Dickson Hospice House Huntersville, NC.
