Sorry to hear about his death, he was my uncle on my dad side of the family.
In memory of Steve Washam and praying for his wife, daughters and family today
Steve repaired my farm equipment, no charge, I knew Steve all my life but really got to be a friend the last 15 years. He was a “Man’s Man”
Expert in every aspect of physics and sportsmanship. Lord, thank you for Steve and be with Ramona in these difficult times
Met Steve when I first came to Huntersville playing softball behind the elementary school. His girls were just babies playing on those concrete bleachers, while he pitched the games, it was a way for me to meet people. I met a good one. He will be missed, but we will see him in Heaven again one day.
So in charge, but took a back seat to others. Never was one to want to be the center of attention, but made me feel as if I was when we talked. Watched the love and guidance towards his wife, children/grandchildren, and our church family. Gifted with his hands and his mind. The love and time he put into his gardens reaped the biggest cantaloupes I had ever eaten (took a week to eat). He left behind his legacy with his family and friends. Celebrate him with stories of his life’s adventures, and his love of Jesus and the church family.
