My condolences to the family and friends of Susan, she was beautiful inside and out. I enjoyed working with her. She was a blessing to so many and will be forever missed. R.I.P.
I worked with Susan at the City of Charlotte. I could have not made a more loving and caring friend. I will surely miss our phone calls where we vented, laughed, cried and shared many joyous occasions. I send my condolences to her family, you have lost a lovely lady..She is at peace now, with our Heavenly Father. “I Can Only Imagine”. Rest in peace my friend.
Susan was our next door neighbor and friend. We treasure the good times we had together and she loved our dog, Buddy, who crossed the rainbow bridge last year. I picture them together now in heaven, where she and Buddy can walk with ease and play. This picture was taken last month. Rest in peace, Susan.
Susan and I played together and went to school (Enderly Park) with Libby McCorkle who lived on Maury Street and I lived on Coker Avenue and graduated from Harding with Susan and I remember Doris her Mother and her aunt who lived in the little home close to my home. I spent time in the home with Susan and I am so sorry to hear her passing with cancer but I know we all are leaving when the Lord calls us home. I am 73 almost and lost my husband of 52 years in Sept 2021 due to covid and I am glad to have known Susan she was dear friend of mine growing up and I hope the Lord will be gracious to those left behind at this time and I am sorry I can not be there to see her. My family moved to Tennessee in the 70's and I have not seen Susan since school and I wish I could come to funeral but I can not come that far but I was close friend of her and really so sorry of hearing of my school friends passing. We are the Paxton's and lived beside Susan and Judy since early 50's. Such good memories of all of us being neighbors and good times. The picture below is Easter 1958. Susan, Chuck, Kitty. I thank God Susan was part of our life. Thinking of Judy and family. Kitty and Chuck Paxton
Susan and I started first grade together, Mrs Napolitano at Enderly Park Elementary. I have a Milk and Wine Lily in my yard that came from the house on Effingham many years ago. I have fond memories of Susan through the years. My condolences to the family.
