Susan Hill's Obituary
Susan Williams Hill, 54, of Charlotte died September 19, 2018, after a brief illness. Susan was born in Cornelius on May 18, 1964, to Banks and Katy Williams and was wife to Scott Hill for 34 years.
Susan was a 1982 graduate of N. Mecklenburg High School. She received a bachelor’s of nursing degree from UNC-Charlotte in 1986. Susan was a dedicated oncology nurse. Susan knew at the age of 18 that she would be a nurse. She worked for Lake Norman Oncology Associates and cared for many in our community along with their families as they faced a cancer diagnosis. She possessed a tireless, beautiful energy that nurtured her patients and their families and flowed endlessly to her family and friends.
Susan was a dedicated and loving wife. Always ready for an adventure, she traveled extensively with Scott and experienced many of the wonders of our world. She was a loyal and caring daughter to her parents. Always a nurse, she cared for her family in times of sickness. Over the past year, she cared for her father and stood beside her parents as they fought and won his battle with cancer. Susan was loved by many. One could only speculate how many people have been affected by her nursing practice. She has held more hands, cried with more people and administered more life-saving therapies than we could ever imagine. She will be missed by all..., but God has gained a Guardian Angel here on earth.
In addition to her parents and husband, survivors include two sisters, Laura Williams and Karen Williams (Benjamin McPherron) and brother, Darrell Williams (Brandi); as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
