Sybil Sims' Obituary
Mrs. Sybil Sims, from Concord, North Carolina passed away Saturday October 22, 2022 at home with her children at her bedside.
Sybil was born in Mecklenburg County, February 10, 1935, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen Knox Smith. She was a homemaker and member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and bird watching.
She was preceded in death by first husband Lt. James Dale Dellinger, husband Carl (Pete) Sims. She is survived by daughter Robin Sword (Richard); son, Carl Eugene Sims Jr. (Julie); two grandchildren Daniel Sims (Amanda); Haley Ann Poston (Skyler), and three great grandchildren.
The family will have a private family graveside service Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, 1030 Burrage Rd. N.E. Concord NC 28025.
