Tammy Louise Smith Rodgers' Obituary
Tammy Louise Smith Rodgers, age 55, of Denver, NC, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2019. She was born in Mecklenburg County and was the daughter of the late Knox Edward Smith and Katherine Kerley Smith. Tammy was married to Taylor (Tate) W. Rodgers of Denver for more than 34 years.
Tammy was a member of Pineola Presbyterian Church in Pineola NC, but faithfully attended Real-Life Church and loved the Lord with all of her heart. Tammy volunteered with little league, football, and band responsibilities when her boys were growing up. She always had a yard and house full of animals of all shapes and sizes. After her boys went off to school, Tammy took a position at a local day care where she was able to love on the little ones in her care.
In addition to her husband Tate, Tammy is survived by two sons; Logan of Marion and Dylan, and his girlfriend Cayce Waldrop of Denver, sisters; Kathey McMahan (Doug) of Spruce Pine, Terri Smith of Pineola, Sister of her heart, Susy Stillwell of Mt.
