Tara Hardnett Small's Obituary
Tara Venecia Small, a Financial Data Analyst and resident of Huntersville, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2020 at the age of 46.
Tara is survived by her husband, Christopher Small; son, Jordan Small; mother, GladysMichelle Hardnett; father, Kenneth Hardnett (Ganarda) brother, Kourtney Hardnett (Pam); sister, Breana Hardnett; maternal grandmother, Blondell Killens paternal grandmother, Marjorie Hardnett; as well as an abundance of Uncles, Aunts, cousins, family and friends.
Tara was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on January 2, 1974 to Gladys Bostic and Kenneth Hardnett. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 1997 with a degree in Business Administration and she received her Master of Business Administration at Mercer University in 2001. She worked for various companies specializing in financial and/or Data analysis, lastly working for Bank of America as a Data Analyst. On September 15, 2007, she married Christopher, a software engineer. On January 5, 2012, they welcomed their beautiful son Jordan into this world and have been raising him with God, Family and Love in his heart.
Tara was a devoted, loving wife and mother who enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family. She also had a strong unwavering relationship with God which she shared with Chris and Jordan in their household. Her kind gentle heart was infectious to everyone she met and when she makes a friend, it was for life. Tara shared special friendships with many of her friends from Jr. High School and beyond.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2pm on October 24, 2020 at James Funeral Home, located at 10520 Arahova Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078. The service will be live on the James Funeral Home Facebook page. www.facebook.com/JamesFuneralHome
