Bev,
Our deepest sympathy to you and the entire Leahy family. Growing up with Ted in Shullsburg was a very special experience. His competitive spirit and wonderful sense of humor made him a great friend, neighbor, and classmate.
May peace be with you,
Dick and Donna Jan Townsend

Dear Bev-- and your children and grandchildren: I am so sorry for Ted's illness and passing. This is a difficult time for you as you grieve and readjust. It's something we are never prepared for-- losing a dear husband, dad, and grandfather. I have fond memories of when we were close friends in Des Moines, starting with Nancy and Patty in pre-school, baby Molly. I can still hear Ted's great laugh ringing out. Keep your precious memories close as you grieve. My thoughts are with you. With love--
I am so very sorry for your great loss. The Leahy Family has suffered so many.
I so enjoyed getting to talk to Ted and Bev at the lunch after Grace's funeral...wonderful people whose dedication to family was paramount in their lives.
Prayers for your healing and for peace.
Dear Bev, Patty, Molly, Mike and Jack,
You have my deepest sympathy. Ted's spirit with exceptional spunk and determination is part of each of you and your kids now and in the future. I am so grateful for the blessings of time we shared when our young families celebrated, learned, inspired, and encouraged each other to follow our life journey--nurturing the dreams and aspirations we held. Ted was true to himself and loved his family and being Irish!
I'm so very glad we were able to spend an afternoon with each other in AZ. Keeping in touch all these years is a special treasure.
I like to believe that he and Jim are in everlasting peace with our Heavenly Father in a place Jesus has prepared for them. May you know you are always loved and that God holds you in the the palm of His hand, especially now. You are in my heart and prayers with love, Serene.
Prayers are with you, Molly, and your family at this difficult time. Knowing your dad is no longer suffering is a blessing. He sounded like a wonderful man. Thoughts will be with you during this week.
Dear Spooner family,
